AkashA - The Launch of Karakoram Highway

AkashA is a 7-piece Malaysian Fusion Band that plays music straight from the heart. This band took the Rainforest World Music Festival 2008 by storm, presents a compilation of diverse music genres, woven together with a magical thread of ethnic acoustic instruments from around the globe. Their long awaited Sophomore Album, the 'Karakoram Highway' was launched on Saturday 8th January 2011 at Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre and I was covering the event for their online media partner - My Tamil Channel.
